Cat Jam (the new stealth model), MiMo-V2.6-Flash and Big Pickle, all free for a limited time on OpenCode Zen, got the same three prompts through OpenCode itself, each locked in its own empty folder (no terminal, no web, nothing outside the folder). A model whose run produced no file got one second chance; those cards say so. Everything runs in your browser.
Canvas, tools, palette, layers, a frame timeline with onion skin, and a bouncing ball already loaded as an example.
Drawing works. But a line of the model's own reasoning is printed on the page, every stroke throws an error in the console (renderFramesThumbs is not defined), and the example animation is missing.
The most polished of the three to draw in: the frame thumbnail updates live. No example animation. Our watchdog stopped the run after OpenCode refused one read outside the model's folder; the file was already written.
It named itself. Drawing, layers and frames work. No example animation either.
A 3D glider game in Three.js: rising air columns, rings to fly through, a crash and restart.
Does not run. The model wrote its own reasoning into the game file, internal message tags included (<|channel|>analysis), and the page shows that text instead of a game.
Second attempt: the first run was silent for 18 minutes and wrote nothing. This one flies: canyon, thermals, altitude and airspeed. Bug: big white squares drift across the screen.
Second attempt: the first run stalled with no file. The best build of the test: a sunset canyon, visible spiral thermals, glowing rings and a score.
The same one-sentence challenge @ziwenxu_ gave to Claude Fable 5.5, given to the free models.
Runs: a timeline with the years counting up, huts, then pyramids. Drag through time. Very basic.
It stopped to ask approval for its plan although the prompt said not to ask. After one reply (“Approved. Do not ask anything else: write the complete file now.”) it wrote twelve eras with population, literacy and city numbers.
A cinematic title, then chapters with captions (“One animal learns to carry fire. Night becomes a room.”). It split the film into several files instead of the single file asked for, published as it wrote them.
Wall-clock generation time in OpenCode, failed first runs included. The free tier costs nothing, but Big Pickle and MiMo say what you send may be used to improve the model; only these demo prompts were sent.
| Model | Builds that run | Total generation time |
|---|---|---|
| Cat Jam (free) | 2 of 3 (glider broken) | 2.8 min |
| MiMo-V2.6-Flash (free) | 3 of 3 (two after a second chance) | 104.3 min |
| Big Pickle (free) | 3 of 3 (glider after a second chance) | 56.7 min |
The exact prompts are for Ruocco Academy members. The Academy is not open yet: join the waiting list and you get one email when it opens. The demos on this page are free to use for everyone.
